During the past 2 weeks we were on a holiday break, but that didn't stop us from continuing working our product's design and development.
On the last lesson we got some insightful feedback from Efrat Solomon, she inspired us and gave us some great tools and ideas to our app design.
The first time we set in front of Figma we were a bit confused and didn't know in what direction we should take our design. We looked on different color palettes and considering Efrat's recommendation, we decided to choose a palette of blue colors, that represent innovation. technology and electricity in the best way.
On the past 2 weeks we conducted 10 usability testing on 10 different users. We've created different scenarios and divided the tasks between all the group members. Each group member tested a different screen on their users and in the end, we summarized all of our findings.
We found that the best way for us was to make small changes after every test, based on the findings, and then continue testing the new version on other users.
In the end of this phase, we feel that the features and the design of our app are much more focused, accurate and good looking!
On the development side- during the Passover holiday, the Computer Science team members came to campus and took several things from the Milab. Next week they are going to have a meeting with their lecturer from IOT course, which should help them start building a preliminary model of our product.
