Week 16: User study and development updates

This week we decided to focus on testing our prototype on some new users that we haven't tested before. Our goal was to get a fresh and new comments about our design that hasn't come up yet.

As we thought, some very interesting new insights came up this week.

The first comment was about notifications. One of our users said that it would be nice if we add some goals and notifications option, so that the users can decide when they get an update about devices that are ON for too long, or to set their goals about costs and usage. We are still not sure if this option is possible on the development side, but we will defiantly consider this in the future.

Another interesting comment that came up this week was about the infographics that we chose for the Statistics page. We realized that we might didn't choose the best chart to display the information, we would like to talk and consult with Hezi about this subject on our meeting tomorrow.

On the development side:

Ofek and Shai are working separately to move things faster. Ofek oversees the physical prototype and Shai is working on the development of the server and the application.

We feel like things are progressing well, but we defiantly have a lot of work ahead of us!
