This week was full of new insights, changes, and progress. Once again, the speed mentoring event left us with a lot of considerations and open questions about the extra value that we want to give our users, and how we can improve the user's experience and interface.
The first thing we realized after talking to mentors was that our design is not strong enough and that we need to make some major changes. Some of the mentors advised us to look at apps like Google eco and get inspiration from their clean design.

Since we are at advanced stage, we realized that we need share all the changes that we want to make with the Computer science team to see if they can handle these changes. We made some Zoom meetings and came up with solutions that will fit both sides.
After searching for cleaner and brighter design inspirations, we designed a new home screen and changed all the other screens to brighter colors.
Then we conducted AB testing between the old and new design to learn which version works better for our users.
The results of the AB tastings were a bit confusing for us, since half of the users said that they like the old home screen and half of them liked the new one better.
We feel like the new design looks much more clean and professional, but we decided to wait for next week's class and consult with our teachers to see which version they prefer.
Meanwhile, we had to think of ideas for our product video and write down a scenario. We searched for some inspiration online and we feel like we know which direction our video should go. We are looking forward starting the creation of it!
