Week 7: Timeline & Technologies

The past week was all about narrowing our persona's timeline and researching about the different technologies that we can use in order to solve the problem.

We've created a detailed daily timeline that helped us understand our end-users' routine and their use of every electronic product in their home.

The next step was to read and search more about the different products and technologies that are exicsting in the market. After we finished our research, we managed to get a wider prespective about how our solution should look like and what it should include.

In addition, we narrowed our list of solutions and chose 2 main features that we want to include in our product:

1. Detailed information about the electric bill and the electricity meter on a daily basis.

2. Voice interface and control.

The last thing we managed to complete this week was talking to a group from the Prototype class that is working on a similar problem and solution. We wanted to check if there is any option to collaborate with them, since our solution requires both phisical product and an app.

In the next few weeks we will keep in touch with them and see if this collab can really happen.
